BBQ in port district



At pier 14 your own steamboat is waiting to take you on a wonderful trip through the Amsterdam harbour, KNSM, the IJ-river and possibly to the IJselmeer (lake).

Experience a unique cruise on this unique boat. A beautiful old Dutch river steamboat, fully rebuilt to current standards, in which one hundred years of history is combined with a modern and trendy design. The engine-room is transformed into a beautiful salon. The ship has a spacious deck and a stylish interior that gives lots of opportunities to enjoy eachother, to drink and to dine while the Amsterdam scenery passes by.

As nothing is better than to barbecue on water and in the sun, your barbecue will be freshly prepared on board during your cruise. Fresh from the grill onto your plate: drum stick, BBQ-sausage, hamburger, pork satay, baked potato, dark bread with herb butter, cocktail sauce, garlic sauce, ravigotte sauce, BBQ sauce and satay sauce. Salad of cucumber, potato, tomato and marinated vegetables. Of course alternatives are available for vegetarians!

During the 3 hour trip we sail to Durgerdam. On the way we will pass by the Oostelijk Havengebied (Eastern port area) and we go trough the Oranjesluizen (the Orange locks). Once we arrive in Durgerdam the skipper will moor to have a delicious dinner in peace.

All together these are enough ingredients for a beautiful trip on board of this magnificent converted boat!
